The original 3-hook specification has been changed to a 2-hook specification in order to have a thick shaft and large hook that can handle large fish such as the King fish class. It is now possible to install a strong hook with hook size #2 and wire diameter of 1.34mm.
The split ring has also been updated to a stronger design that can withstand the fights of big king fish. In addition, by purposely narrowing the range of motion of the front hook eye, we eliminate the need to carry the hook on the Hosomi body and achieve a comfortable usability.
