EGU Chunk was born from the desire to create a chunk-type worm that can hit the water with overwhelming force and intensity.
The idea for EGU Chunk was born from a fishing method in which a soft bait attached to a rubber jig or football head is swimming in the middle water while playing line slack. This method is much deeper than we imagined, and is attracting fish from far away. And the farther away the fish are brought in, the more likely they are to become bites.
If there were a worm that could hit the water more efficiently and strongly, wouldn't it be possible to attract fish from a wider range? After much trial and error, we arrived at the Chunk shape.
The thick and heavy claws, which have never been seen before, deliver a powerful punch, and the flexible and wide arms move the water over long distances. The strong waves produced by it exhibit a fish-attracting power that far exceeds that of conventional worms.
However, this alone makes it difficult to handle, so it has various side legs that move sensitively even with light actions, and thin ribs on the abdomen that create buoyancy and crustacean-like micro waves that create a lingering sound. By incorporating gimmick parts throughout, we have created a worm that continues to attract bass at all times, from falling, dragging, swimming to staying, and switches on the bite trigger with slow and sudden action changes.
In addition, its versatility is wide when it comes to rigs, and it is highly compatible with various rigs such as Texas rigs, drop shot rigs, and heavy Carolina rigs.
Of course, its ability as a jig trailer goes without saying.
EGU Chunk can be said to be the ultimate evolution of chunk-type worms, which has succeeded in combining amazing fish-attracting power and feeding ability, as well as high versatility.
