The "700JHS Jungle Spin Heavy" was developed in response to requests from expert anglers.
By adding 4 inches to the length of the 680JMHS model, it achieves the long-casting capability needed to reach monster-class bass without alerting them, while also providing the hook-setting stroke required to ensure solid hookups—even when fishing from an elevated position (such as a high bank or boat deck).
Furthermore, the blank—upgraded in power by one level—features a fast taper, allowing for full-power hooksets the instant a bite occurs. Despite these enhancements, the rod maintains the same weight as the 680JMHS, ensuring excellent, nimble handling.
This is a specialized tool for experts who target monster-class bass using "power finesse" techniques.
