The Super Raven RS represents the ideal versatile rod, harmonizing seemingly contradictory qualities: the crisp sharpness of a high-tension blank combined with a supple, tenacious backbone, all while offering agile handling and reassuring rigidity.
It retains the sharpness of the "Black Raven Extreme" (a model specialized for pitching/flipping) while adding the one-handed agility of the "Cougar Elite" and the whip-like flexibility of the "Stallion," finally fusing them with the rugged toughness reminiscent of the "Grand Cobra" (a heavy-duty versatile rod).
In the cutting edge of bass fishing, the boundary between "reeling" (moving baits) and "pitching/flipping" (targeting cover) is vanishing.
Techniques like retrieving soft baits or pitching hard baits have become commonplace. Anglers now frequently switch between reeling and pitching with the same lure—sometimes even combining both techniques within a single cast. Success is difficult without the flexibility to handle these methods. This rod was created to meet that need.

The Super Raven RS is a practical, technical versatile rod that allows for instant switching between reeling and pitching, enabling the true simultaneous execution of both techniques.
Constructed using "Torayca T1100G" (featuring Nanoalloy technology)—a high-strength, high-modulus carbon fiber—throughout the blank, and designed with an all-tubular, regular-fast taper, it strikes a perfect balance of the qualities essential to a bass rod: sharp yet tenacious, lightweight yet powerful, and highly sensitive. By wrapping an additional layer of carbon prepreg—featuring a slightly lower modulus than the Torayca T1100G (33-ton) used for the main shaft—we have imbued the rod with added toughness without stifling the inherent characteristics of the T1100G. The design offers superior versatility, allowing the rod to flex progressively under load while maintaining a natural bending curve.
Furthermore, the entire blank is reinforced with a ±30° narrow-angle, high-density Kaleido Super Quattro (4-axis) cross-weave, powerfully suppressing torsional twist.
This construction prevents power loss without the need for excessive carbon layering, enabling the blank to deliver 100% of its performance potential.
