The Super Killer Bill's effective casting range is approximately 1-2m. The basic techniques are reeling and killing (pausing), jerking and ripping, twitching, and the flexible joint mechanism and soft tail. With just a light twitch, the irregular darting of a long bill minnow, previously considered difficult, is now possible. Anyone can easily create surprisingly realistic and seductive irregular darting.
The flexibility of the separate body and the unique joint angle create a fluttering, side-to-side action with light, rhythmic short twitches.
Pump reeling with extended pauses is effective during low water temperatures, while twitching and jerking with an emphasis on the mid-water layer are effective as the water temperature rises. This is an essential tool, especially for targeting large fish during the pre-spawn period.
The maximum depth of the Super Killer Bill is around 2m, but if you start twitching without letting it dive too deep, the joints will allow it to maintain a depth of 1m, making it effective on the shore as well.
