I absolutely love this rod, got it as a suggestion from a fisherman I follow (I-fish) and took the leap of ordering.
It’s quickly become my favorite rod for UL fishing and I’ve had tons of fun catching fish under 3# with it using 2# fluorocarbon Daiwa J-Samurai line. I’d suggest this rod for twitching jigs and also micro spins/ spoons.
I also recommend using a light reel with this because it’s not too heavy so no need to balance the weight out with a heavier reel. My Daiwa Presso reel feels like a good pair with it and it’s extremely light for other rods.
