The HP Shadtail was developed as a small shad tail worm that could be used with various rigs, with the primary goal of balancing reeling and shaking.
It generates powerful vibrations and water displacement, which are often lacking in shad tail worms of this size, regardless of reeling speed, from slow to fast.
When reeling with a weightless rig (offset hook #2 to #3) or jig head rig, it produces a powerful wobbling action that shakes the entire head.
When shaking with a drop shot or neko rig, the tail vibrates powerfully in accordance with the rod work, displacing water.
Furthermore, it is also compatible with Carolina rigs and as a trailer for small rubber jigs.
Even with a weight of 1.2g, one of the lightest in its class, it reliably shakes its tail during free fall.
While swimming with a sinker of around 0.3g is good, it can also be used in a secret technique of quickly dropping it with a 2.2g sinker.
