A metal shim was inserted into the mold of the Megabass X-80 Trick Darter to increase its volume. Its buoyancy is 20% higher than the X-80, and the lip shape has been tuned to create a lip that stirs up the water's surface as a topwater plug.
The internal core has also been redesigned, and the mold has been replaced, resulting in a completely different internal structure from the X-80 Trick Darter.
Anyone can simply hold the rod upright and reel it in, transforming it into a fat body that produces an exquisite boiling action.
The Prop Darter is a new-generation boiling action topwater bait created using ITO Engineering's tuning technology.
