Born from a request by Evergreen USA that inspired Toshifumi Kikumoto, this pencil bait is named the Combat Pencil Justine.
By setting a shorter sliding distance for its action, the Justine makes a quick, high-speed walk-the-dog motion effortless. This rapid movement—mimicking a fleeing baitfish—triggers strikes while leaving bass no time to scrutinize the lure and reject it.
To overcome the common weakness of small pencil baits—where they attract many bites but often get knocked off the hook—we designed it with a heavier weight than is typical for its size.
Furthermore, it features a three-hook setup on a compact body. When paused, it floats at a 45-degree angle, optimizing the balance and positioning of the three hooks.
When in motion, the design intentionally suppresses rolling, preventing the hooks from swinging sideways or upward. This stops the hooks from accidentally popping out of the water, thereby increasing the hookup rate.
Additionally, it flies straight and true with a beautiful posture; despite its small size, it offers superior casting distance and accuracy, allowing you to fish effectively without spooking the bass.
