After 15 years, the 2026 Steez has been completely redesigned and reborn with cutting-edge technology.
The goal of the 2026 Steez was to maximize rod sensitivity, not only from a boat but also from the shore, even without FFS (Full Float System), so that you can feel the lure underwater as if you were looking into the water, manipulate it as you wish, and bring it to the bite—achieving what was previously impossible and making bass fishing more enjoyable.
Furthermore, all items feature a detachable handle for ease of use and are made in Japan with reliable quality.
■SC C64ML+ -LM Lightning 64 .....While the 2021 Lightning 66 featured a soft tip using SVF glass, the SC Lightning 64 utilizes Low Modulus carbon, enabling a wide range of hard bait versatility that was impossible with glass. This makes it a versatile hard bait rod for shore competition.
It employs a unique blank design with a slim, thick-walled structure using Low Modulus as the main material, assisted by SVF Torayca M46X.
By incorporating a "V-shaped taper" into the tip, it enables slack-line retrieval of wire baits, something not possible with soft tips. The tip responds to the vibrations of continuously vibrating crankbaits, achieving both a comfortable retrieve feel and slack-line retrieval.
For manipulative hard baits such as poppers and jerkbaits, the "V-shaped" tip produces excellent action, evolving the rod to handle hard baits in a versatile manner.
Thanks to AGS, CWS, and the assisted SVF Torayca M46X, the casting feel is lighter, the upper limit of lures that can be handled is expanded, and long-cast performance and sensitivity have been dramatically improved.
