Its most striking feature is its length, which is significantly greater than the norm. While a 7-foot rod was traditionally considered too long for styles involving sitting directly in a boat (like a Jon boat), this model defies that convention; during a cast, the tip flexes exquisitely to keep the trajectory low while maximizing distance. It even allows you to target areas under overhanging cover from a considerable distance away.

Naturally, this offers an advantage for shore fishing as well.
This is partly due to the high number of guides—whereas Tsunami Lures' original models typically feature 7 or 8, this rod is equipped with 13. This configuration helps mitigate the impact of the wind and prevents backlash.

Incidentally, the "Acorde" model features a larger rear guide than standard Tulala rods; this design choice accommodates reels—such as vintage ABU models or the Sonic Master—where the line exits at a higher position.

The taper is balanced from tip to butt, ranging from fast to medium-fast.
It is designed to cast lures ranging from roughly 1/2 oz to just over 2 oz, with a sweet spot around 1 oz.
When working the lure, the combination of a flexible tip and a powerful backbone handles everything from the delicate sliding action of a pencil bait to the aggressive jerking required for darters or double-propeller baits.
That exquisitely flexible tip also effectively minimizes the risk of "bouncing" a fish off the hook during a strike.
