The ultimate specification for finesse crawler baits. The Aventa Crawler RS Chiquita is the smallest cedarwood technical plug in its class, compatible with medium to fast reeling.
Although the Aventa Crawler RS Chiquita is less than 5cm in size, it uses cedar wood to achieve performance that is comparable to the paulownia wood, which is synonymous with the Aventa RS.
Cedar wood has high buoyancy, but is also highly durable, water-resistant, and strong enough to be used as flooring in Japanese buildings, and is a natural material unique to Japan that is also used in classic crankbaits.
When developing the Chiquita, its size is overwhelmingly smaller than the Aventa RS, with a body at the level of a small cicada, so the same paulownia wood did not grip the water well, and at the same time, it lacked the strength to maintain the wings and eyetons. After carefully examining and selecting a variety of natural woods, we decided to use cedar wood, as it has the right balance of water adhesion and texture to prevent breakdown on the water surface, as well as the strength to withstand resistance.
