"Strider" is a bait finesse rod built for serious action, fusing the characteristics of finesse and power by pushing both to their absolute limits.
Think of the scenarios you couldn't conquer before—situations defined by "Medium-Heavy" capability handling lightweight lures. This rod is designed to meticulously target and catch those tough bass lurking in cover that refuse to bite under ordinary circumstances, using technical, precise casting.
In recent years, spinning-based PE power finesse has become the standard technique, replacing traditional bait finesse. However, there are still situations that demand a direct approach into the narrow gap between the cover and the water's surface—situations where simply suspending a lure from above isn't enough. The ultimate expression of this is skipping the lure across the water.
Yet, modern bass are increasingly wary of the sound of a lure hitting the water; flashy, obvious skipping can actually be counterproductive. While using lighter lures can minimize noise, doing so makes the technique significantly more difficult with baitcasting tackle.
Spinning tackle makes it easier, but the lack of braking control makes it hard to pinpoint exactly where the lure lands.
