Inheriting the name "Gray Ghost," which has been synonymous with mid-stroking rods since the original Steez, the "Gray Ghost 64" is a significantly evolved rod capable of hover-strolling, mid-stroking, and bottom-stroking with a jig head and worm.
The taper has been significantly revised from the previous model, following the taper of the BLX S64UL.
By incorporating "AGS" and "CWS" and combining Daiwa carbon molding technology with SVF's "Torayca M46X," it is easy to freely control the shake pitch, from hover-strolling, where only the tail vibrates without rolling, to mid-stroking, where a roll occurs.
This rod is capable of a wide range of lure actions, from micro hover-strolling, which was previously impossible with UL mid-stroking rods, to 5ft-class power mid-stroking and escape actions.
The U-shaped tapered tip allows you to feel the speed of the slack line shake and the sensitivity of the lure's operation, making this a highly sensitive mid-stroking rod that you can feel as if you were holding it in your hand even when the lure is at a depth of more than 10m.
