A slow-pitch sinking pencil plug ideal for bay area and river fishing.
The Galva series features a unique upward-curving head shape that generates lift and a meticulously designed short lip. This allows it to easily rise to the surface immediately after landing, and even in crosswinds where the line is affected, it maintains its depth just below the surface, making it a lipped sinking pencil plug that can be retrieved effectively.
After extensive prototype testing, the exquisite balance between the upward-curving lift and the downward-curving depth-keeping ability resulted in a stable action while maintaining a depth just below the surface.
Despite its small body, its height and thickness provide excellent casting feel, ensuring a precise landing at your target point.
The wide, head-first swinging action appeals naturally yet powerfully to seabass that are strongly focused on the surface, enticing bites. By holding the rod upright and reeling, you can create a wake, and by lowering the rod, you can retrieve the lure just below the water's surface, within a few tens of centimeters.
