At the design stage, we set the main target for Jointed Claw Magnum as 60cm and 70cm class monster bass.
After testing numerous prototype models, we designed the body size to be relatively large, over 20 cm, which is the main bait for monster bass. The visual appeal of this body size is tremendous, and its ability to attract fish even surpasses that of the original model, Jointed Claw 178.
On the other hand, there is surprisingly little vibration from the lure due to its magnum-class body, and the Jointed Claw Magnum, which has the ability to play against fish, will bite nervous monster bass without causing any discomfort. The action is similar to the Jointed Claw 178, with a relaxed and wide S-shaped action, and although it has a magnum-class body size, it can also be used like a soft bait, and it reacts sensitively depending on rod work and line tension, making it perfect for dead sticking. Compatible with various techniques such as twitch & jerk bottom stay.
