The 4.11 is designed to cover a wide casting weight range and prioritize operability.
While existing models could handle minnows and spoons, the desire to cast heavier lures and add agile action, without being able to cast 3g lures, resulted in a rod with unbalanced capabilities. The 4.11L was born from this contradiction.
To achieve this, the rod has a slightly stronger overall stiffness, resulting in an L power rating. The butt and belly are sharply finished, but the tip bends in conjunction with it, creating powerful hooking force.
By overcoming the challenge of achieving a difficult balance, it produces bullet-like casts across a wide weight range of 3-18g, imparting light action to lures and allowing you to reel in even big trout over 60cm without being overpowered.
Furthermore, by streamlining the exterior, it achieves the lightest weight in Fishman history at 89g, making it less tiring on the arm and resulting in an aggressive rod that allows you to face the field all day long.
