The Blitz is an aggressive shallow-running crankbait designed to rapidly and effectively work any shallow-water zone.
Our goal was to achieve overwhelming action that triggers strikes—leaving no fish behind—while simultaneously evolving every fundamental performance aspect. To ensure stable swimming that doesn't deflect wildly off course when hitting cover, we utilized a fixed main weight system. While fixed-weight designs often raise concerns about castability, we overcame this through a low center-of-gravity weight layout and an aerodynamically optimized body shape, enabling precise casting to targeted spots.
We also boosted its fish-attracting power by combining the snag-resistance typical of round-profile crankbaits with elements of a flat-sided design, resulting in a unique semi-flat body. The lure features a lightweight, ultra-thin square-style "HP Slash Bill," which significantly enhances snag resistance and swimming crispness while improving bottom-sensing sensitivity.
We paid meticulous attention to buoyancy speed, reducing body weight to the absolute limit without compromising casting performance. The "Honeycomb Super HP Body" played a crucial role here; it allowed us to reduce wall thickness by approximately 40% while maintaining structural integrity, thereby maximizing both weight reduction and internal air volume.
The Blitz delivers top-tier performance across the board—including class-leading high buoyancy and an extraordinary, ultra-high-pitch response—without a single compromise.
