If you want to cast metal squid jigs (up to size #30) to cover a wide area, this model—designed to minimize line trouble—is an excellent choice.
It features a blank with superior long-casting capabilities, allowing you to target wary squid—which often lurk along the edges of light and shadow—directly. The shorter length makes underhand casting easy, while the sensitive tip is designed to help you detect bites that occur during the fall.
