The original HPF Crank is the No. 1 flat-side crank with excellent total performance, packed with a number of innovative technologies inside the body, and has a high-pitch action response that is better than balsa and overcomes the flat-side's biggest weakness, castability.
In Spec 2, the mold inside the body has been renewed and the weight has been changed to a fixed type. Even when it hits the cover, you can attack with stable reeling that does not move away from the structure without falling sideways. Also, since it is a silent model, the reaction of nervous basses who dislike rattle sounds is also good. Furthermore, by eliminating the U-shaped fixed weight, the weight has been reduced by 10%, improving both buoyancy and snag-free performance.
There were concerns that the flight distance would not be as good as the original, but by shifting the weight position 8 mm to the rear, the loss was kept to a minimum.
In other words, the HPF Crank Spec2 is a flat side crank that brings pressured bass to the bite through tight and natural swimming against the cover, at the cost of a slight reduction in flight distance compared to the original.
