If you fold the tail part in half, it will be about the same thickness as the head part, and the total length will be about 1.8 inches. This is the biggest feature of Medusa, and the reason why it has a large silhouette but is not bulky.
The tie-shaped tail part is thin, so it bends easily even with weak suction force, and it fits smoothly in your mouth.
Because of its small volume, it doesn't get in the way, and every time Medusa moves, horse mackerels from around the world come and fight with each other, and even a small 8cm horse mackerel can be sucked in.
When we dived into the sea and looked at its characteristic tie-shaped tail, it looked like a jellyfish swimming, so we named it "Medusa".
