Description
Weight: 3/8oz
Hook size: #2/0
Experts competing in the B.A.S.S. Elite Series require a rubber jig that offers exceptional snag resistance, allowing them to quickly scan vast areas of water.
Whether paired with an "Escape Twin" or "Front Flapper Curly" as a trailer—used for rapid-fire pitching, skipping into the deepest parts of heavy cover, or "jig-stroking" around submerged timber—this jig ensures a smooth, rhythmic presentation without the frustration of getting constantly hung up on obstacles.
Furthermore, by creating a subtle disturbance in the cover before the bass even spots the lure, you can trigger a strike—even from otherwise uncooperative fish—by making the jig appear as if a piece of prey has suddenly emerged from the cover.
The head shape and center of gravity are engineered to avoid harsh, direct impacts with cover, allowing the jig to glide over obstacles smoothly.
The brush guard is positioned at a shallow angle, providing excellent protection without being overly stiff.
The custom-designed RYUGI hook is robust enough to handle heavy-duty flipping with 25lb-test line, while its "TC coating" ensures superior penetration.
Every element of the skirt—from its impact on fall speed and swimming balance to its overall silhouette—has been fine-tuned to achieve the perfect balance.
