The playful Oikawa Special Rod The Oikawa Special is a fly rod with a Japanese taste. The base uses Infante 801-4 blank. In recent years, there has been a resurgence of the Oikawa boom as a target for fly fishing. Therefore, we added Oikawa special specifications to Infante 801-4. The Japanese style is expressed with a bamboo pattern, and the grip and reel seat are made as compact as possible to enjoy the fun. The smaller grip and bamboo pattern make the action slower and heavier than the regular 801-4, and it also expresses a bamboo taste, making it a rod that stimulates the playfulness of adults. Of course, you can also use it for yamame trout and char. 800-4 Oikawa Special #0 version has been added. By applying a thick layer of paint to the Infante blank, flexibility and torque are increased. Compared to 801, you can enjoy pulling the lure with a slower action. For both models, please use Supra J Stream DWF Straw color (Oikawa SP) for the line.
