Long drift through complex flows with the long leader system devised by Naoto Shibuya.It has a special taper structure and shows its true value with a long leader system of 21 feet by adding 6 feet of tippet. This is a leader that can comfortably handle the long leader system devised by Naoto Shibuya, who lives in Akita. Its features include a thin bat and a two-stage taper, which achieve the two contradictory elements of turnover ability and drift ability at a high level. Many of the long leaders from other manufacturers have thick butts and focus on turnover, but LDL is a leader for long drifts. The secret is that the bat is thin and the first taper is steep, and the second taper and tippet part have almost no taper, creating a two-stage tippet shape. This steep taper creates minimal turnover and creates slack in the tippet, which makes a difference in drifting ability. (13 feet model) You can use it as is, or add 3 feet to 6 feet of tippet. It has better turnover compared to 15ft, so it is also effective for large flies. We also recommend it as an introduction to the long leader tippet system.
